{"id":74,"date":"2014-10-28T19:04:09","date_gmt":"2014-10-28T19:04:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/greensteamcarpetcleaner.com\/?p=74"},"modified":"2014-10-28T19:04:09","modified_gmt":"2014-10-28T19:04:09","slug":"carpet-stretching","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gccarpetcleaner.com\/?p=74","title":{"rendered":"Carpet Stretching"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Carpet stretching is used when you can see rippling or loose carpet.<a href=\"http:\/\/greensteamcarpetcleaner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/carpet-repairs-tools1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-76\" src=\"http:\/\/greensteamcarpetcleaner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/carpet-repairs-tools1.jpg\" alt=\"carpet-repairs-tools\" width=\"259\" height=\"194\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Carpet stretching makes carpets tight again.<\/p>\n<p>It prolongs the carpet&#8217;s life by eliminating wrinkles, which can cause the<br \/>\ncarpets to wear more quickly from the constant back and forth bending that occurs when the carpets are stepped on.<\/p>\n<p>It also reduces the danger of tripping on the ripples in the carpet.<\/p>\n<p>The most common reasons for loose and buckled carpets are poor original carpet installation, improper tack strips installed, prolonged damp carpets and high traffic in certain areas.\u00a0 Sometimes it is because of the material they are using like polyester and nylon.<\/p>\n<p>Carpet repair is done by pulling up the carpet on two sides and completely re-stretching like when is was installed.
